Love the sense of weight in your sculpt
Hello, guys, long time no see.
Thanks to ZBC, I can learn more here every time. And I feel so honored to nominate ZBrush award2017 with so many excellent artists.
This time I brought a new work, a dragon painted-wood statue simulating Chinese traditional style.
This is the first time I've ever finished using R8, and the gizmo 3D feature is so great that it can do something that used to be difficult.
In modeling, I mainly want to emphasize some traditional aesthetic curves. I hope you like it. :)
The color version rendered with Iray in Substance painter, and the clay version rendered with keyshot.
May I be the first to congratulate you with this dragon?
I just can't find any words to describe what I see and feel...
great job! amazing work!
God, the lines in that thing are gorgeous, and the textured render looks fantastic. Top Row, if it were up to me.
Thanks,my friends.:)
I rendered a bronze version with keyshot.
I hope can bring him to real world use 3d print technology .May be Bronze is better.:)
If the body is the stem and leafs the head is the flower:tu:
Beautiful design! That would be nice in real bronze. Well deserved top row. :tu::cool::tu:
I firmly believe I moved this piece to the Top Row with the power of my mind. Well, with that and the exceptional work by xuzhelong.
Probably mostly that second thing...
Amazing work!
Really Amazing. Beautiful work !!

I would love to learn how you made the painted wood texture. Can you share your technique?
Great artist and amazing project!
