A bit of giant monster action.
Groovy room mockup.
And a few little things for the giant monsters to stomp.

Hi Scott,
That smells for animation.
Are we going to see your awesome monsters in action? Great props and vehicles.
Love your robots too, also that painterly rendering style of yours is fantastic.
Could that be transferred to animation also or would it be too costly timewise?
all the best
Jake
Messing around with a little personal work.
John "Spanky" Stokes mascot, Stroll. Pretty much wrapped up. He's trying to decide whether to go vinyl or resin, and just how large of a beast does he want to produce. I'm excited, John's a good guy who supports the hell out of the designer toy scene.
Figuring out how to sculpt the hair on Stroll was very challenging to me. It took a week of research and experimentation to nail it down. I gave Steve Talkowski a mini tutorial, live, on Skype, and he suggested that I record and post a permanent tute.
Sculpted up this scrawny fellow for Squibbles Ink + Rotofugi. I manhandled the character, Joe Somers sculpted the car.
Very nice. Love the gesture of his hands, particularly the one on the wheel.
Cheers,
Brian
Beauty render, in Max, of the ZBrush sculpt.
i really love your creations!
Tell me he's going to have interchangeable heads and limbs!
Love it! :D
If you like to take a closer look at how I sculpt toys, now's your chance!
Cheebs is a creature sculpt that I executed, live, in real time, for a class I was teaching this year. I ran the students through the entire process, from sketch, to turns, to rough model in Max, to ZBrush, and then back to Max for retopologizing. It was a quickie, and there was no time for tweaks, but he still turned out pretty cute!
If anyone would like to take a close look at the model, you can download it here in OBJ and ZTL formats:

"Birfy", a quick ZBrush doodle...
Bloob! He's blooby.
Tons of toys getting made and prepped for rapid-prototyping. The orange one is a work-in-progress of Tim Stephson's Creeper. The other two are my own designs.
