Hi, Shige san.
BPR render in ZBrush looks interesting. I like ape style creature.
pretty interesting !! liked it..
can u share the zbrush screengrab showing the polypaint on this one ..
good job, how'd you do the saliva and the breath?
That is pretty amazing , really like the model an presentation..oh and happy new year!
This last work is really nice, very cool light, render and compo, congrat. :tu:
really nice work an render:)
Thanks for all the kind words. And happy new year:D
@padgo I painted the saliva and the breath with photoshop.
here is polypaint
This beast turned out awesome!:tu::tu::)
great model and lights! is amazing what it can do with the BPR..and such talent! how many time did you spend to known how it works BPR zbrush? i mean, you did a great compo, with backlights and these skin monster shader.. is there any tutorial to learn how it works BPR render to get realistic result like yours (or something with that level of course, not the same thing)?
Nice work, i like the way the skin is streched from chest to the arm! nice polypaint too!
sculpt looks great! nice render too :tu:
oh my :tu:
Awesome sculpt, but I'm even more impressed that all the rendering was BPR! Love the neck anatomy on the back view... all that mass gives the impression that this guy could seriously mess you up, and those skin folds coming across the chest are pretty awesome too.
really nice work!
good job!
Very nice! Did you attend the Concept Sculpting and Maquettes workshop by Bryan Wynia? Very inspirational.
Very nice work.
Looking great man!
Good job...Very nice...
cool~~~~!!!:tu:
Great image! But Top Row? Hmmm.
excellent creature!
great work sir!
Congrats on the Top Row! love the detailing on the character!
very nice, all around job. thanks for sharing!
Because, while it is a striking image, some of the best aspects of it were, according to the artist himself, done in Photoshop. It's a nifty sculpt and render, don't get me wrong. But I've seen SO many fabulous images lately that have been overlooked for Top Row (like this one: http://www.zbrushcentral.com/showthread.php?917921&p=917921&viewfull=1#post9179 21 )
Well done Eric, you've turned a perfectly good thread about admiring a good sculpt into yet ANOTHER top row or not top row discussion. Good Job.
I remember you doing the exact same thing here (post#20) and that turned out to be a thread of epic proportions. A bit of tact maybe?
Oh and before I forget, awesome work. Well done on the Top Row. :tu::tu:
awesome work, love the design of this creature
Fantestic Stuff...Congr8s.....
Congratz! Excellent BPR render!
Would love to see BPR passes/breakdown! While BPR has great potential it never seemed that easy or intuitive for me to assemble shaders with it, and the more breakdowns/tutorials the better.
Great sculpt and presentation. :tu: And who cares if he finished the comp in photoshop....it is absolutely normal....I would find it strange if he didn't. The goal is a great picture, moving or still...it always involves a 2d package.
Congrats on top row
Diggin the creature! Cool design and poly paint! Big fan of the Emperor Palpatine image on your site.
Thank you, kaisasose, I am suitably admonished. (And goodness gracious, I've stirred the pot many, many more times than that post you referenced, was that all you could find?)
Seriously though, I'm just expressing my opinion. The vast majority of my posts are exceedingly complimentary, especially in Top Row posts. I stand by my comment, and I'm not afraid if I'm the only one.
By the way, kaisasose, I LOVE your artwork. Terrific skill.
And again, this is a marvelous image!
simply Great job!! loved the pose tho its just a bust sculpt:tu::tu:
great work keep going
Good design and good render, however it makes me chuckle somewhat 'cause I imagine him letting out a supreme burp. This is by no means a discredit to your work, it is quite excellent.
As Darth Vader would say, "Impressive. Most impressive." :D
Excellent monster design. I especially love the BPR render and polypaint. Good compositing too. Thanks for sharing, you gave me some ideas on how to paint a creature I'm currently working on which I was having trouble with.
Thank you everybody! I’m happy to get a lot of comments.
I think everyone has amazing skills on this forum so I also can understand that negative comment.
Anyway, here is element
I painted color and material with polypaint.
Then when I rendered this image turned on SmoothNormals button and I used Materials Blend-Radius.
these are new feature of ZBrush4R2.
quote from Pixologic
- Smooth Normal feature softens polygon edges when rendering, without needing to subdivide.
- Material Blending renders materials with smooth transitions between them.
