AH...Just surviving the storms Cherub....Got lucky and magaged to dodge the bullit on this last one that hit the east coast, but not by much...Gets pretty interesting at times when you live thirty feet across the street from a sea wall as I do..The Atlantic is a powerful ocean, with a mean temper...Calm as glass without a ripple in it one moment, and hurling thirty foot waves pushed ashore by 90 mile an hour winds at whoever gets in it's way the next moment...Playing with and disrepecting Mother Nature, is sort of like playing Russian Roulette with a gun that has a nuclear warhead in it's chamber..sooner or later that bullit is going to come around full circle and get you...no matter how stronge or smart you think you may be...I sure hope that the governments around the planet get their act together, and get together to do something about global warming, besides just talking about it...Talk is cheap, and action speakes a whole lot louder than words as is being proven by what these storms are saying in their wordless ways..Fools and their money are soon departed,..especially at the game of roulette :D

Thats looking amazing my friend, reminds me of the portrait Jelmer Boskma once made.
May I ask you, did you use a normal map or a displacement map?
Cheers,

Thank you! :)
Slice, I didn't use normal nor displacement maps, in Keyshot I've imported and rendered the highest subdivision levels. The only maps I've appplied are color maps.

Thanks for your reply, does this mean you unwrapped the high poly?
(if not, could you please break down your workflow please?)

No problem. The way I've created the head is polysphere sculpting then retopo, and I've made the uv layout on the lowest subd level. Then exported the highest subd level to keyshot and applied a color map to it. The same goes for the hand except I didn't retopo it but used the lowest level dynamesh automatically generated. Hope this helps if not please ask and I'll do the best I can to explain :) Cheers
