Hi :D I think that you put a lot of work in this game. The characters look amazing. Can you show us the more mesh (wire) toch these characters? Maybe a little larger pictures you provided? I would be very grateful. I still have questions about the grid. How many polys is the main character. (head, body). Thanks for showing us your work.
p.s. Sorry for my english
These look fantastic, the basemeshes are fantastically clean! The game is amazing, big step up from the first one I think and the detailing throughout is great.

wonderful works mr nicolas
great work, superb quality i must add. Just wondering, how long do you take to create these models? Where do you bake the normal maps in? I find it hard to transfer hires detail from inorganic hardbody objects properly to the lores, I either get detail not aligning properly and bevels that look lame, any tips how?
Thank you so much for sharing your work. Although this kudos is a bit late, just wanted to congratulate you guys for amazing modelling and textures. :) I just played and finished the whole game thanks to this thread. I am so inspired by you all.
thanks for showing us this...love the game and looking forward to Assassin's Creed Brotherhood...are you a part of that as well?
Thanks guys for your comments :) ok as this thread just came back from the dust, here are a few answers to your question.
capu: for the face texturing i used a combinaison of photo textures and hand painting with zapplink and photoshop. I'm also using Bodypaint now in the process. Check on google you should be able to find a tutorial to learn how to use zapplink but it's pretty simple.
SERGIOMASTER: i don't have other pictures than those one sorry. The man character Ezio had a slightly bigger bugget but nothing fancy.
KonginChains: to answer to your questions it takes btw 1 and 2 week by character , i baked the Normal maps with both 3dsmax RTT and Xnormal depending the object. And for hard surface baking well it's not easy to keep the edges sharp and clean but you can try to use a slightly more define lowpoly to bake the map from and then you can optimize it to reach your polycount budget.
leeuwen12: yes i'm currently working on Assassin's Creed Brotherhood, we are working hard to make it looks even better :)
I ssoooooo envy you....btw do you know if there's gonna be another exclusive character besides the joker? or can't you tell?...cuz i wanna pre-order it but i don't want make a mistake again for which exclusive char to choose(made the mistake with other games,....i do got black box edition and i'm not sorry i got it....even tough everything is download-able now)
anyway good luck working on it and i hope you put your all in it and be satisfied with the result so i can play it ;)
i don't know sorry
