...a more romantic next one! :D
Hi Etcher,
thank you very much for all your effort!
I really like your sheets and also their design.
A lot of useful information with a cool looking presentation.
Unfortunately I lost a little bit the orientation because they are so widely dispersed.
And sadly some of them seem to be unreachable in the meantime.
 Maybe it would be a good idea to additionally collect them into one pdf, like a kind of tutorial book for offline "reading", what do you think?
Keep up the great work!
I'm looking forward to what comes next from you. ;)
Kind regards,
Tom
Frenchy Pilou: romantic... mmm well ... we'll see ... ;)
Phönix:hi Tom, thanks for your nice comment & for sharing you thoughts :) I checked my thread and all sheets should be there -> however, I did notice that some post numbers changed and some posts appear on other pages (probably due to the ZBC server migration a few weeks ago) so I'll have to adjust the backtracker. The idea of an Etcher_Sketcher pdf has come up on some occasions (some other fellow ZBrushers have suggested this in the past), but I just dunno yet. Meanwhile I'll adjust the backtracker. :)
Hi. I've been a long time lurker on the forums but never posted before.
I just got Z-brush for christmas (its been on the wishlist for years :)) so have been trawling the forums again for inspiration.
I just felt after looking through your sketchbook i had to pipe in and congratulate you on the quality of your work.
not just the sculpting but the presentation is great too.
superb stuff.
so much to learn so little time :)
ChemicalBR0: thanks for stopping by & the great comment  -> ZBrush for Christmas = awesome ; probably one of the best presents ever :D. Happy ZBrushing & look forward to seeing your works on ZBC :tu:
I think it will be some time before I'm ready to post anything.
I'm currently working through the intro to z-brush 4 book by Eric Keller. it's more or less just the basics but right now that's what i need
I'm a long time Lightwave user and I'm finding it tricky to transition to the zbrush way of thinking. (when i 1st loaded zbrush i spent a good 10 minutes trying to figure out how to get a 3 panel view (Top front side) then it clicked.... "bloody hell everything is done in perspective"
keep up your great work and i look forward to seeing more.
Etcher I'm downright thrilled that you replied to my thread! I followed your step by step for the pistol last night, and though I got some of the shapes and proportions off, it still came out looking ten times better than I could have managed without reading it in the first place. Some of your techniques are things I haven't even seen in some of the pay-for-play hard sculpt dvd's and I learned a lot!
Thanks for teaching an old dog some new tricks! Gary (aka voodoodad)
Edit; Hope you don't mind, but I copied this post from my thread just to make sure you know how grateful I am!
ChemicalBro: yeah, Eric's book is great! I made transition from C4D, never looked back :) btw, next friday's gonna' be a blast, you'll see ;) scultpt on dude!!!!
Voodoodad:great, thanks for the feedback :) (btw; one of my main frustrations is not having enough time to comment on ZBC threads -> I check ZBC several times a day and see so much great stuff & experimenting being posted -> dang, not enough hours in a day I guess ), anyways, let's get back to sculpting!!!!!
ZBrush rules.
Hey Geert, when can we expect some new work?
Am impatiently waiting ... :D
Greets, Dominiek.
Hi Dominiek, I hope to be able to post some stuff by the end of next week (nothin' too spectacular though; tests mostly). Got bigger things on the way, not ready for publication yet  thanks for stopping by & ttyl :)
Hey all,
Long time no post, but life...
Apologies for the thread bump, but I need to get some stuff organized for new updates.
Also,I took the time to check and update the backtracker because some things changed when the forum switched to it’s new layout a few months back so now it should be correct.
The pages below are also featured in my Z4R2 Betathread, but I have to post them here too, since they HAVE to be in my sketchbook… ...
Well, at least, these first two sheets where never posted before – so here goes.
Updated Backtracker:
Nothing wrong with having a life Geert ;):tu:
Nice to see you posting something again, really looking forward to new stuff from you, take care :)
Hi fellow ZBrushers, hope you girls 'n guys are as thrilled as I am with the new Z!
The pages below are available as a pdf download, but I have to post them here too, since they HAVE to be in my sketchbook… ...
