This feels like it was done a lifetime ago, cool to see it finally coming out though! ZBrush for Concept Artists Vol. 2
coming very soon! Keen to see Vol. 3 wrapped up which will be sculpting and illustrating the dual hammerhead looking
creature i did earlier, posing scenes and all that fun stuff. Will think of some other goodies and freebies to include in the last 2
volumes. :)

awesome, thanks for sharing! I totally missed CDW somehow, got to get the first part till this gets released :)
Some content i recorded back in 2012 for Vol 3 that i didn't think was strong enough to include in the DVD so i thought i would release it for free.
Really excited to see Vol 3 all wrapped up where you will be able to see the big creature sculpted and rendered from a sphere.

Massive Black workshop demo from Fri, some sort of live action take on PATLABOR, one of my favorite animes...... can't go wrong with old Mamoru Oshii! :)
3D blockout in ZBrush + Photoshop paintover. Keen to do a few more shots if i get time, take more time planning/modelling/finishing than i had time to in the demo, would have liked to group all the pieces on the model to get better base material render out of Keyshot to paintover in PS instead of just all grey that i started with here. Everything came down to the wire and ran out of time but was fun stuff regardless, glad everyone had a good time, will figure out a way to get the files to everyone that attended the workshop. Look forward to the next one! :)
Finally got around to uploading the layered file, the DL link can be found in the store section of my site. Enjoy!

3D Blockout in ZBrush before paintover, rendered in Keyshot.
Excellent work!
Stunning work man. I've got the design tutorials you did on CDW studio's website and they are great. I was wondering if you plan to do any similar tutorials along the lines of your more futuristic/mech designs. I would love to see somthing like that :tu:
2014 resolution number two, collab with friends.
Helping Vaughan flesh out some sort of pit crew for his YUKON racing creature, here was the first crack at some sort humanoid creatures that could operate on the YUKON for repairs and things during a race, will be refining and exploring more ideas as we lock down what these guys might look like with the intent to make some cool little scene that could be a nice little collectible 3D print through HEAVYPOLY Industries later in the year. Email Vaughan if ya'll are interested in a 3D print at Heavypoly@gmail.com.
