Z2 and I have been playing around with 1 layer transparency ideas using the RGB intensity/Z-intesity to provide "non-material" based transparency ...and I just noticed something interesting ...
Mathew ... care to comment here?
OK ... it seems like ZB's edit tools use either the RGB intensity or the Z-intensity (both?) to tell where the tool is on the surface of the geometry. Cause when working with some of these objects where the intesities are turned down real low ... the tool indicators (the little red dots) tend to get confused about where they are on the surface.
When I turn the intesities back up the tool knows where it is perfectly.
Not a big deal cause I just turn the intesities up all the way when it happens, make my edits and then just turn em down again.
Kinda interesting though.
