Well Namek first off there is nothing really wrong with this picture. What you should probably work on is your style of drawing. It's difficult to explain but you know when you are looking at a painting or drawing and you can immediately recognize the artist that did it? Every artist developes a style- a unique way in which they draw and compose an image. You can see this with LeDiscott, The Saint, Pixolator, Southern, Kathy, Ken, Ztevie and DeeVee just to name a few. You can pick their work out in a heartbeat because they have their own unique styles. Now that style does not have to be an earthshaking world affecting technique. It can be very subtle right down to the handmovements that you use when drawing. So my "advice" would be to practice drawing and painting. Learn different techniques for applying color, texture, detail, and lighting. Then make yourself do it faster. Once you have ingrained those movements into your brain you will find yourself doing it naturally and without thought and your style will develop and blossom.
As far as your modeling goes it looks fine but if it were me I would try to not be so conservative. I would make the bone structure and depth more extreme. Exaggerate the facial features. Get wild with it and experiment. Overall though you are doing quite well so keep up the good work and practice practice practice. :tu: :tu:

ooops, thats huge!!! :D very well done eye(ball)s, great use of texturemaster (? at least i think thats what you have used) and materials, overall great modelling and a nose i can only dream about being able to model one day, Namek! :tu: :tu: :tu: as far as the modelling goes my only suggestion would be to de-activate symmetry at a certain point to add gen-pool-induced imperfections and character. furthermore i would love to see backgrounds :D just what i am thinking!
you have come a long way in very short time, amigo, and by now you know how much fun is waiting ahead! :)
