This is my personal superslim masking script which has all the most useful masking buttons and incorporates easy access to three of the most powerful and useful scripts. The Slimline masking script is designed to take up absolutely the minimum room on the workspace and the other three scripts have cross links to each other.

The idea behind this is that the masking buttons is what is usually needed when creating a model and takes up the minumum room. The other three scripts are able to be loaded with the minumum of fuss and refer back to each other in a logical way. For example you can switch between Colourmaster and Texturemaster easily.

I have removed the "about" button from Aurick's Colourmaster script and replaced it with a Texturmaster hotlink. Apologies for this but I figured that anyone who is going to use this will have understood how to use the script by now ;)

Enclosed is a Zip file that contains new Texturemaster, Colourmaster, MaterialPack scripts which replace the ones currently that are used because they contain the extra buttons. These text files are meant to replace the txt files in the current versions that you already have. That is use all the other psd's etc that you already have. Any questions mail me.
Finally for all this to work The TextureMaster, ColourMaster and Material pack and all the contents have to be at the same level as the default txt.

I work at 1280 X 1024 on a 21" monitor which is what it is designed for but I have tested it at 1080 X 768 and it works fine.

thank man :tu:
you might explain for any newbie what over writing a file does because when they over write this (DefaultZScript.txt) they might be in for a Big suprise they didn't know.
and make a back up copy of the DefaultZScript.txt of the program.
just a thought ;)
trust me there some newbie out there i had hooked my buddy Tom up with a computer a while back he had to call me and ask how to shut the thing off :D

Thanks EZ, a timely warning. But I figured that anyone who is going to download a new script and put everything in the right place would be aware of what they were doing. I doubt that a computer newbie would be attempting to muck around with the default script.

However as EZ mentioned it is always good to remame your old default script something like "DefaultZScript.txtCOPY" So you don't overwrite it. Same goes for the Texturemaster and the other scripts contained in the Zip file. Then you can always go back to them.

BTW EZ After all the changes I finally settled on this solution of cross reference buttons as the cleanest way do make it all work. I also readded the warning on the divide button, taken from one of your suggested modifications.
;)

PS I'd be interested to know if anyone tries this out on a smaller than 21" monitor if it all works OK.

As Aurick has improved the colourmaster script to have seven gray scales plus a random colour generator when the script opens I have updated my script accordingly by stealing his code.

This new code replaces the old colormaster code in the previous zip file. It is designed to work with the same .psd file as you are already using because I am using tha same buttons as in the previous version.

ColorMaster.txt (http://www2.zbrushcentral.com/zbc_uploads/user_file-1023707936jda.txt)

note when using this file the file name must be ColorMaster not ColourMaster.

Thelonius,
Just downloaded this and I think it is great! I couldn't get it to work at first because I have TextureMaster, MaterialPack, and ColorMaster in their own folders. While moving TM and CM to the default folder is not a big deal since they are small files, MP is quite a large number of files. Is there some way I can use your script and still keep MP in its own folder?

PS: I have a 17" Flatscreen monitor, and it works fine.

well, mine's not near as complete as you guys', but I use Southern's Default Script that he so generously shared, and on that I have a button called Modeling Tools which is what is below. This includes the ones I use in modeling. Anything else is only a click away or at the most 2 clicks. I am working on a script that is especially for when I'm painting..but will include links back to default, Texture Master and modeling as well. And many thanks to the generous people who made these scripts! :)

hi wenna you can do this
[SectionBegin,"TextureMaster"]
<zscriptinsert,"TextureMasterRevE.txt">
[SectionEnd]

and have a HOLE set of them even to the Default, txt this way you only have to edit one set of text file to get back.

instead of cluttering up the hole tutorial view window with 4 or so tool you can chose what you want and use what you need.
this just open the panel up if you click it again it hides it.
c/c/p the code just like i posted it even with these < >
