View Full Version : question about exporting and heavy meshs

i was wondering say that model i made is very heavy when exported in obj..now i use max at work to..so im in max and i use a modifer called multirez to try to reduce the polygon count some..and the mesh just disapears..
so i re exported from max as a obj poly object..and then bring it back into max and it looks the exaxt same, so i try to use multirez on this copie and when i press genarate, it just turns into some weird collection of solid boxes resembeling the shape of the face..
is there any way i can reduce the poly count from a heavly sculpted model, inside ZB
to a unified skin looking object ?
Also you know that page were pixol shows that heavey amour suit then uses a displace map on a 200 poly model and it look exact the same..what vershion of zbrush do i need to do this ???
well theres a few questions, but im hungry :)

Pixolator's torso was done with the beta version of the next version of ZBrush. It is due out in days or months - we don't really know.
