The lighting is very!I also like the way the
fog has the appearance of flowing over the terrain.Very pretty.

Wowzers! Very sharp, crisp details in the rocks, and the fog is subtle enough, but still strong, not to upstage the planet/moon in the sky. This is an incredible fantasy-scape.

Nicely done Kaz! The excellent use of fog gives this image a sense of depth which is outstanding. Are you planing on doing anything else with this image? It would be interesting to see what lurks in the fog!

Kaz, I simply love your work!!
I have to ask < maybe I missed it?> You posted a work in progress, I believe it was around the time you posted the water script. I was wondering did you ever end up completing that piece? If so I would love to see it :)
Thanks so much for posting your works :) :)

Very photoreal. I'm looking out the window of a plane over Colorado or Utah, it's hard to tell which. If you've come up with a special AlphaCentury method I'd love to know it. This is a beauty :tu:

Thank you all so much for the comments. There is no new trick to this one. I like bringing in all kinds of different Alphas and trying the Alpha Century trick on them. On this one, I used an image created with the Marble Action for Photoshop I posted here some time ago. I then brought that image back in as a texture and added color bump. I think what helps this one is the lighting. I have 1 light source and the shadow intensity is high, blur is low and length is high, ZMode is on and the color of the light is what makes the color of the hills - orange.

Smiles - I don't remember which one that was, but most likely it was from experiments. I don't think I ever finished it. Perhaps I will revisit it... Thanks for asking. It made me go back and look at inspiration gone by...
