Does zBrush have the ability to do python?

No it doesn't, and I doubt if there are any immediate plans to include it. ZScript is is the ZBrush scripting language for those that want to automate tasks or create plugins. It's not difficult to learn and is the basis of all plugins released for ZBrush.
