I was planning to do a full scene with this dragon but I ran into some technical problems so I desided to archived for a while.

For how to do nice bat/dragon wings look at the pixolator's zsphere generated dragon here:
Pixolators dragon with zspheres (http://www.pixolator.com/zbc-bin/ultimatebb.cgi?ubb=get_topic&f=1&t=016012)

Thanks for the comments. There are different ways to do the dragon wings and this will depend on what you wish to use the model for. If you want to do everything within zbrush then you should do it the way Pixolator did it. I didn't want to do it that way because I want it to create the classic dragon wing where 3 fingers make the membrane and the other two are regular fingers.

However, to achieve this I had to use an external modeler to do part of the modeling. I created the body with one zsphere ( the zif model is a bit sloppy because I was going to do a lot of remodeling and detailing in the external modeler). And the base geometry for the wing with another zsphere. I exported both and assembled them in the external package. The way you do the membrane between the fingers will vary from package to package. In wings3d, which is a free modeler that I used on this model, I used the "bridge" command to join faces between the fingers. This would leave a whole which was filled by choosing the faces inside the whole and deleting them.
Some might be wondering what is the advantage of this approach. And why I did not just model the whole dragon in wings. The answer in my case is speed. This model started as an entry for an speed modeling challenge. I had 4 hours to create a model of a dragon. Doing this in Wings from scratch would have taken me longer than that. Using a combination of ZBrush and Wings I managed to get to the stage at the bottom in just 3 hours. This might not be impressive for some but for me is quite good.

Gary Aztec thanks for the comments.
Aztec: It might be a while since it seems that I may need to get more ram for what I want to do and my systems is maxed out at the moment.
