Several people have very recently shared materials, and I wanted to share one, even if it is not exactly what I want it to be. I use a material in conjunction with a light. I am trying to make a 'sketch' material. If someone could make this better, I would appreciate it!

:qu: Maybe one way to make the final render look more like a sketch would be to apply one of the filter brushes to it??????

Also, I am wondering if there is a way to set up a brush and background so that a pencil-on-paper look could be acheived. This would be pencil sketching with a Z-brush brush. Not a material.

(Most of the objects in this picture are from Pixologic. Thanks for Lizzy, Pixolator!)

:) hello. I think you are very near, with this materiel, and it seems very fine! a VERY nice add, becauseI model much more than texture, lots of things wich are going to be never textured! Thank you!

I agree...this is an excellent...EXCELLENT mat! I love it. Thank you soooo much for sharing it because it will be my image render test material from now on. I could never find a middle ground between a light material and good lighting...this is it!

BTW..an awesome test image too! :)

Thanks again

Hey, love this idea...

I just added the material and the light to my scene.. and when i render @ best quality.. its pure white..

if i keep it on the default display it looks like my model is grey and speckled like pepper.. if that makes sense..

not quite the result i see shown above..
;)

any tips?

I've the same problem too, everythings pure white at best render.
Have I forgot something:qu: Seems to be an old shader from Z2!

Why not use MatCap on the picture to capture a new material from it for Z3? :)
