I'm thinking about possibilities Poser would allow in my ZBrush-Lightwave workflow. Any Poser users out there?
Do you think it's good software for character posing work?
I'm using Mac.

I'm not going to be much help to you since I just got Poser 8 and I'm relatively new to 3D but the first problem I see is that you can't reconstruct subdiv after importing into Zbrush. I'm happy to create figures from scratch but Poser does seem a tempting way to speed things up. However, if you can't move down to a simple base mesh it might not be worth it. It's been a bit frustrating working on the Poser mesh. I'd be interested if any more experienced people have anything to add or if they can correct me if I'm wrong.

It's possible to rig/animate in lightwave correct? If so then I would say Poser is probably NOT the best use of your money in this case. Poser is awesome when you need to pose something for reference, and in a pinch I've even animated some of the stock people to insert into existing animations, but really, it's probably not the way to go in this case IMO.
