Not sure if this post has been done before, but a really good way to get a head, base model is this:

I used this method to do this quick head:

Sorry, forgot to mention you need to spherize your unified object about three or four times!!!

Yes this is a technique that was exolored on several occasionsl and most recently in this thread Head Start (http://www.pixolator.com/zbc-bin/ultimatebb.cgi?ubb=get_topic&f=1&t=013499) It is a technique I use more often than not. I have a script posted there showing the technique as well if anyone is interested....

Menta7 I was reviewing your modeling tutorial and im really impressive the way you work for the most time in the Draw Poliframe mode and how progresively make your figure¡¡¡. Definitively, for me I learn more easy when i can see the artist working instead words¡¡¡

Yes it's a very well known method but very good to retake :)
And if you see here you find a Master Zbrusher guy who use a real cube for make a head
