if your looking for a way to make clothes in sculptris what out having to do so much hard work youve come to the right place all you need is make human and blender now to get started first go to make human make your human be as simular in shape and size as your character well i think you get they idea now but now let me continue just export obj and import to blender now just go in edit mode and select the faces on your human in the shape you want them to be in then press ctrl p or p one of those or right now separete by selected and just go in object mode and export it then bring it to sculptris and play with it until you have it looking the way you want

sorry it took me so long to reply but ive not not been on for a while now some body named FIL asked for me to show a pic of my idea this so here you go this is just some simple armor i made it took me about 30mins to make it only because i didint add much detail armor.jpg okay tell me what you think.

by the way could some one please make a tut on how to make legs on a human sculpt in sculptris because i can never get the legs right on my human like characters in sculptris.

if you liked my how to make clothes in sculptris tut your going to love this. also tell me if you have any problems with sculptris maybe i can help but if i cant dont get mad. also i wounder if zbrush and blender well ever team up maybe you know like zblend or something who knows. :lol:

okay i was sitting with my eyes clued to the computer screen mad woundering why i cant make it past 100k triangles without having sculptris stop working or having it lag on me so i kept looking online for a way to deal with this issue after thousands of sulutions that never worked i went to the config played in it for a few hours and i found a way to fix my problem. okay here it is go to your sculptris folder go to config make mt_tesselate 500
make mt_beautify 500
make mt_draw 2
make mt_culling 500
make mt_normals 500
make mt_edges 500
make antialiasing_numsamples -80

now after that it should run just fine but i must warn you you will run into what i like to call spikes nothing to be worried about just remember once you reach a certain level of triangles like for me the first spike is around 60k it will slow down for a sec or 2 then it will work just fine but also when a spike happens dont move to fast or sculptris will stop working and also draw and grab will work a little bit faster than they others do but these two miner problems or a small price to pay. :idea: :cool:
