Personal computer of how much memory is you using?
I am using iMac(powerPC G3/600MHz) with the memory of 640MB now.(But it will be 1GB.)
My personal computer freezes at once when it enlarges the size of the canvas of ZBRUSH.
How much specs are necessary for the personal computer to move zbrush to its maximum?
Is it really enough by 1GB?
I want to think about the following personal computer purchase referring to your opinion.
...To master ZBRUSH.
Does you understand the word that I want to say?
I am sorry in unskilled English.

Try increasing the amount of hard disk space you available for the swapfile

Perhaps try removing RAM.. one of your sticks may be faulty.</strike>

I use an old PIII 650 Mhz, 256Mb RAM, 4Mb graphic bard("on board", it sucks) and I run ZBrush...really nice!
I use Autocad and 3DSViz and I can´t run them to do what I want in my machine...I think it´s retirement time for it... :D :D :D

Try to download Zbrush again. Probably it´s an instalation error.

Antimorph: I don´t think RAM is the problem because in my work I have Zbrush demo to play in my lunch time and there I work in a PIV 2.4Ghz, 1Gb RAM and its a beauty.

I can make mine crash if I increase the canvas size using the Height slider up to 4096 with 'Constrain proportions' active.

Perhaps it becomes confused because it cannot make the width larger than 4096 which is what constrain proportions is telling it to do.

Apparently, I think that this problem was solved.
As for the personal computer, I am an absolute beginner.
Therefore, I had hardly fiddled with neither memory nor RAM.
However, when Zbrush was used this time, the memory was touched for the first time.
I remembered the thing to use the virtual memory this time.
Besides, I remembered the memory being allocated.
I was able almost to solve this problem by the above-mentioned action.
