For starters, hello. I've just downloaded the Zbrush demo, and fallen in love, so heh, I guess that's the rest of my spare time done away with.

one thingy...

Under the "transform" menu (demo version) isn't there supposed to be depth and size sliders? It's just....there isn't. that I can see. Um. :(

I think those sliders got moved to the Draw Palette.

The manual that you are looking at was written for a previous version of ZBrush. It is currently being updated to be consistant with the latest version. This info should help you find the features that you are looking for:
