Hey there,

This is my version of the head model tut from SG. Thank you for the great tutorials!
I'm trying out the fur brush. Any tips on controlling this brush? I had the head baked one layer with the eyes and teeth on the other. I painted the fur on the head layer and found that when the fur went beyond the head it turned dark. I was using white as my hair color. YOu can see that even on the head itself a lot hair is NOT white. Why??

Thanks in advance!

heyas dooki....try chosing Flat material ...and under the tool options...mess with the density and gravity setting...go a bit lower...and also the Z intensity levels. Choose RGB only also..try playing around with that stuff and see what happens :) I know my answer is a bit vague but that is the area(s) to play with. I look forward to your results. I like Mr.Hide so far.

EDIT I did a quick dirty script for you...put show actions on in your zscript panel. I hope this helps.

I hope this help and allow me too learn , as Aurick stated "The fiber brush is an art unto itself, requiring time, experimentation and practice to get right"taken textually from Aurick comment to Richard T. White Jr.
Thanks for your attention

These are two very interesting images. I love the fibre brush...used it a lot when I started ZBrush. It does take a lot of hours to understand. :) :tu: :tu: :tu: :tu: :)
