Slight update......

Finding form that pleases other form. The interaction between form is more enjoyable than achieving a likeness to Jack, which of the two that gains prominence is of no importance... as I get my kicks from being ignored :D.... yup a sick puppy.

Here is a play with form and colour in the intrepid search for feel. More on left has been worked on, most areas unfinished....kind of a looksee with shape and colour....

This isn't the finished version.....the finished version is complete and will be posted elsewhere..in that version I changed a few things and completed the painting.

I post this unfinished version here for those that may have been following the progression......

Tools used....

Simple paintbrush
Blur brush
Smudge tool

At this stage I still had not looked at a photo of Jack (whether you believe that or not it is up to you). The Jpeg loses a lot of detail....

How are things in the Leper colony ED?

Well, numbingly good actually......so far 6 commissions received for caricatures in acrylic thanks to Jack... Good money too.
As usual the odd birthday present, and corporate presentation with a couple of private individuals thrown in. Going on past sales they always seem popular as birthday presents for the over 40,s for some reason.
