Hey everyone.
I'm a student from cardiff and is currently on there final major Project for this end of year. What I have decided to do was to create a 3D model of a weapon. Ive had some experiance with 3D programs but decided to take it up to the next level and create something more difficult for my project.
It was to design a 3D Firearm that could be at a later date be used in a game. (Such as fallout 3, but this is a Just if i have enough time to after the project.) I have designed a mock up version of my weapon to get the better ideal what im going for.

My inspirations come from borderlands and a old anime series called Trigun. Anyway to the point, I need some advice of what program i would be better suited to create this in 3D? I have used zbrush a few times to know what is what. but wondering what would be better to create the structure in, becouse i believe Zbrush would be used later for detail then to stucture. Please tell my your thoughts.
