hi guys,

i m new in zb. so thanks for helping in advance.

i got a question on the angler fish of pixolator. i notice that when he detailed the modeling for the eye, he actually added sphere3d as the eye. then later of the tutorial he still can go back to zsphere to edit the pose of the fish. hmm...

how to do that??? i try out zsphere it works fine. but when i choose other tool like sphere3d or something else, i can never go back to my model. if i choose the zphere tool i have done(let say the fish body), i will create another fish body on top of the old one. but it din happen to pixolator. how amazing.

look thru the tutorial and the practical guide still cannot find any similiar features that perform the same task.:P tell me if i m blind:P

i had the very same problem a few days ago!

in that video, pixolator projects the 3dsphere onto the main model using 'projection master'.

here's how to do it:

1. position the body like you want to
2. hit 'g' to call 'projection master'
3. adjust settings as follows
- projetion type > deformation
- fade > OFF
- normalized > OFF
4. project sphere into socket
5. hit 'g' again to pick up your model

ya, multi marker, another things that crack my head. but i thought that is different concept.
