Zbrush 1.55b...a zif model with 1 parent and 2 children zifs...modeled and two spheres added for eyes and painted directly onto in another layer. The tongue is comprised of four torus's deformed and noise added...slobber painted on after rendering baking and adjucting the bright and contrast...neck and shoulders were a cylinder on a seperate layer with the divides taken way up ....looked kinda neat so I thought I would share my fun with the group. Thank you as always for looking....It gave me a little mind break to create this...

Edit....went ahead and gave him a background....created on another layer with various alphas, highlighter, paint brush and drag rectangle stroke.

That is one dude who would scare his mom. Where do you come up with these images from? I swear you should be doing something else with that imagination of yours. :) :tu: :tu: :tu: :D :D :D

LOL Joe!!! I am trying...ie

Challenge thread by Ed the Atom to me (http://www.pixolator.com/zbc-bin/ultimatebb.cgi?ubb=get_topic&f=1&t=012432)

I wish there was and hopefully will be a market at some point for my weirdness....I am in the process of checking some local small presses for prices on producing some real life comics...now I may end up having to pay for them all and store them in a closet somewhere if I am able to get that far and not be able to market them  It's a project on the near horizon hopefully. I am going to take a hard look at some of my favorite characters and some of the more recent ones ie Digger's family for this project. I know online comics are anotehr option but other than just having them on the net is there money to be had on the net with that type of work? That I don't know. Robotalk has often mentioned that my stuff reminds him of the old EC comics (an old horror comic group and series of books that I remember reading as a very young boy) so that got my mental wheels turning a bit. So hopefully during the upcoming winter months when I have a lot of time on my hands to pursue such a venture, I will do so....A fatman with a dream..and hopefully it can be realized in the near future....thank you for your comments ...It is appreciated. But I will keep the forum posted on the progress of my pipedream... :tu:

Sweet work there Ron. I sort of see this guy as a worm man. He certainly looks contented; I know I would be if I could clean the back of my head with my tongue :D .

I really like the skin material on this one and the background, like he is in a bright sun-dappled forest rooting around for food, but what exactly?. :tu:

I like the material you used for the skin :)

I like the background also, Reminds me of water shimers (Caustics)..

Cool stuff :)

Ronster......

I am detecting a vast improvement in your images.

I knew I was right in choosing you for the challenge.

Still a long way to go though......because the challenge is actually real.

thank you all for the kind replies...it was an experiment that I took a little further. I too liked how the background turned out....I started with a black background and then went with this to help the model stand out a bit...guess it worked. Now my cig is done and I really really really really have to go to work....bye
