LOL, NOT !

I had the head completed. I got the eyes in, I was able to get the upper eye lids on, I did paint the hair on the model (after I had sculpted a brilliant hair do) and I definitely need work on painting and such.

But I lost my head....not because of something I did wrong during the making of it, but because I could not remember how I had gotten my first head to my paperport, where I could use my photosuite to convert it to a GIF (and photosuite should accept .PSD files, but it would not support my .PSD file?). So there it sat, in ZBrush, under exportment, and no way to get it to photo suite II

(If anyone can enlighten me again, it would be very appreciated)

So then I had a brilliant idea.

My computer has a GoBack feature, so I figured if I went back to 4:18, which was the closest checkpoint to when I wanted), I would at least be able to try to export the sculpt and maybe would hit with the eyes in. I figured that ZBRUSH would AUTOMATICALLY SAVE my work. NOT

So I am sitting here totally disgusted because I have lost another head, and I really only have me to blame because I had exported to my paper port when I had first put eyeballs in, and done a crappy job using snakehook brush on hair.

So it is no one to blame but me.

But I will just have to do it again tomorrow, and by hook or by crook I will send you the sculpt with my eyeballs in and eyelids. Already KNOW I need to go over the tuts on hair more. But I had sculpted a very nice hair do onto her, and my lips turned out so nicely, all I need to do is to get the painting right, and then on to lighting.

But still Ticked OFF.

Wondering why ZBrush will not convert it in ZBrush to a GIF so that we can export directly?

Well anyway, I will live (I think !!) :D

Have a great night, I will try not to dream about ZBrush....LOL, the other night my Mother called me in the middle of the night, and I answered my phone when I was still sleeping, and I told her not to worry, you guys were mailing her a ZSphere :D I really did do this in my sleep.

Well

Many Blessings All

sorry to hear the bad luck. you could try the print screen button. this will load whatever is on your screen into the keyboard buffer. i haven't used photosuite but you should be able to paste (ctrl+V) that screen capture into a new document. you can do this in photoshop. the other export setting in zbrush demo BMP should also be compatible with most 2D apps. hope this helps :)

Knocked down:stand up, come back.
Knocked down harder:come back harder.
You and I have had one hell of a day.
Is it worth it?
Now?no.
Tomorrow? Probably not.
Next week? Next year? Lifetime?
Hell Yeah!!!
I do not predict futures, but I will try.
Down the road, this forum, this group, you will be the one.
And I haven't seen your first post.
If I could find someone to bet with it would be the easiest money I ever made.
Luck
Ps. Knute Rockne would have loved this email
If I miss you Great Thanksgiving!!!

Thank you :)

Tjaden, some time ago, I did that on advise of a online person, so I could show them what was in my Configuration (so they could see what programs I had), and it turned out to be a big mistake. LOL. But I do remember the process WELL :) I was having Dangerous Low Resouce problems, and had tons of programs that were running in the background, and he just showed me after seeing the process that you described, he did the same thing and showed me what to turn off. Well, that document was Zipped, ended up in my Config, still cannot fix it, but have discovered that it is not causing me any problems, and I can still run in Safe Mode.

Besides Tjaden, I have downloaded from ZBrush before, so I did something wrong.

Ryter, OF COURSE IT IS WORTH IT !! I knew that even after I realized that I had lost it again. It is just that.....well....I wanted SOMEONE to see it other then me !!! LOL

I am raring to go again today, and I will :D

And if I do not "see" you, or the rest of the ZBrushers HAPPY THANKSGIVING :)

And eat till you bust, but go to someone elses home, so you do not have the work :D

And for those who do have the work of making the Thanksgiving meal, you have my sympathies and my great admiration...for you must be very good at cooking....YUMMY :D

Many Blessings to All
