I think all of your stuff here is awesome, now for post #4 (my thoughts).
I'm guessing that this is a piece that your going to print out and make
mould of. Are they pots of paint in the top of the rings? And thats why they
are different colours? They have different symbols on the rings, do the fit
into something? and activate it? I don't really get it, it needs somthing else
with it to be honest. Something that the smybols of the rings fit into. Like a
book or a Ben 10 action figure. Ben 10 is really taking over huh? Alsoooooo
If this was printed out the rings aren't going to stay in their slots very well
because the slots aren't deep enough. Making them deeper will mean
changing the diameter of your cylinder.
Boba Fett my fav.

Thanks to everyone who has responded to the post and especially for who is responsible for moving this to the Main Section!!!!!
To answer a few questions, first these were all made for clients who had specific requirements in mind, and they defined what their uses were. A number of the elements of each of these were made in the final products from different materials (i.e. rubber washers to hold the rings in the display case).
I used both ZBrush and FreeForm modeling plus on these. I used FreeForm predominantly as most people use Maya, to create the basic mesh forms to get started (this is changing in my current workflow, since the introduction of the latest features in release 3.5 r3, I am starting in ZBrush!) and then I do the rest of the modeling, texturing and detail in ZBrush. Because these were all eventually printed, I exported the final models as obj files. In FreeForm I took care of the engineering for output, the same way other designers use Solidworks. I sectioned them up, created keying for reassembly; keeping in mind any draft and "fit tolerances", scaling for output then exported them as stl files for output. I did all of the rendering in ZBrush.
I appreciate the design input. The rings have different symbols on their tops which correspond to the Comic Book characters they are related to. This symbol is also found below on the side of the Ring Stand. I kind of like the idea that they should fit into something that adds more "play" value. Cool concept! Perhaps that could be added in a later iteration.
Again thanks for your constructive criticism and for taking time to look them over.:D
Cheers!

Someone hasn't been keeping up with their DC Universe heroes. :) The multi colored rings are from the various Lantern Corps. Originally, we knew only of the Green Lantern but since then, there has been Black Lanterns, Blue Lanterns, Red Lanterns, etc. Each representing a different power/function in the cosmos. Personally, I think the idea is dumb but it seems to have really taken off for DC so go figure.
Now back to topic:
These are great sculpts! Really well done!

Teyon - "Someone hasn't been keeping up with their DC Universe heroes."
Yeah Lol sorry... I must sound like an idiot now hehe. But I guess it might be
good to get the viewpoint from someone that hasn't really absorbed heaps
about the DC Characters. I would hate to think that I have offended anybody
by giving out my opinion, it would never be my intention.
This amount of work done in here is AWESOME. Was Boba Fett's gun just
roughly blocked out and you decided not to show it just yet? He's my favorite.
