Sorry if this is terribly simple, but self-proclaimed newbie here;

Now that I've modeled my head, how do I go about adding good eyes? I'm using the demo version, and I've experienced 'losing' a model (ie the ability to manipulate it), once I switch to another tool. Should I have made the eyes first, then the head? Does it have to do with different layers? I just don't get it, but I sure am having fun trying to!!!

Well you could put the head in one layer, eyes on another.

Try this:

and see step 5 specifically.

I am also a newbie so I dont nkow if this is the best way either, but here is how I did it.

As u can see here he has eye globes (do u call it that?) well the stuff that goes in to his head where the eyes are supposed to be. http://www2.zbrushcentral.com/zbc_uploads/user_image-1036147340qea.jpg

Then I just made 2 round globes (the eyes) and stuck em in to the eye hole thingies. Then if they dont fit all that good u can just edit them some...

And yes I know this dude looks crap as hell but I was just doing him to try and learn the program.

I think you mean "eye holes" or "eye sockets".

Thanks Keith, that looks like the kind of info I'm looking for. Looking forward to being able to get into it later today.
