thats a cool attempt for your first head,
the fibre brush is really fun for making hair,here is a tip for making the hair look better. before you start using the fibre brush, bake the layer that you are going to use it on, and use the flat material when using the fibre brush. hope this helps

This is a really nice first head. Try what hitch2 is suggesting with the bake-then-fibre-brush. It really helps.
