ahhh - to my surprise (http://www.pixolator.com/zbc-bin/ultimatebb.cgi?ubb=get_topic&f=5&t=000814) (yessss, EZ, and i’m gonna make it - el presidente :D) this sunday was free, so i could finally re-z myself this afternoon and here is what zbrush made me do(odle):
http://www.cyber-webs.com/zbrush/beachaxab.jpg
sea was done by first creating a greenish yellow gradient canvas for texture and then using the fabulous alpha century shmoove-move (http://www.pixolator.com/zbc-bin/ultimatebb.cgi?ubb=get_topic&f=1&t=001312) to creare waves from an alpha done from spherebrush with spraystroke and covered with fiberbrush drawn with "continuous orientation" off in picker palette (orientation-icon rotated horizontally). main failed experiment in here imo are the stencilmade shadows of the fronds - i guess i should have stretched/rotated them to make it look better. but, like in the following two, there is a bunch of failed experiments :D
http://www.cyber-webs.com/zbrush/moonlightaxa.jpg
done with the help of four alphas (three customized: a few leafs, the hanging thingies and backgroundtreetops + default alpha) and defaultbrush-2d-drag-rectangle stroke + 2d-snakehook on one layer. at least one more alpha with foliage would have helped the realism a lot - when i wanted to create one to add to the above pic i got distracted and did the below one :D) and the idea to place a pointlight into the monn makes it look like a bulb in some fog.

complete lack of variety but too much fun to do :D
additional 121 welcome, but i doubt i will find time to redo any of them ;)
