Thanks, Bluesman,
It's in the default resolution mode; hence, the jagginess.
Are there different resolution modes?
Hi milk,
A stencil itself is exactly as smooth as the alpha that it's derived from. If you paint with pixols through the stencil, your edges will be perfectly smooth (such as using a stencil with TextureMaster to add a design to a texture).
However, if you use the stencil to mask off modeling or vertex shading (all of which are driven by polygons), then the stencil itself will still be smooth but it's forced to work with the mesh density. The more polygons that the model has, the smoother the results will be.
:: Note: You cannot use the stencil to control deformations. Use masking for that.
Ok, thanks. You are so much help to me. :)
