changed the shape of a primitive, but want it back to its default shape, so I can place down a fresh, new one, and I want to delete the messed up prim. How would I go about doing this?

The original default primitive should be still in your tool menu. When you deform a primitive ZBrush makes a copy of it in the tool menu, but retains the original default tool. You can get rid of the deformed tool in the tool menu by quitting ZBrush and then restarting ZBrush.

Also, if you want to start over with the object you're currently editting, simply go to the Tool: Modifiers: Initialize and change the HDivide or VDivide and then change it back. It should start back at the object's default shape. :)

Cool, thanks for the info, can't wait till I get a new Pablo board sent back to me. Drawing with a mouse is a little too much of a challenge.
