one way to achieve this is paint an alpha carefully where you want the bumps, and slightly inflate.
another is use the edit draw with zadd on. very low setting and draw. repeat the stroke if necessary with decreased brush size. then you get a bump. now put zsub on and draw with very tiny brush and very low intensity besides the bump (both sides). now use move and push these lower parts towards the bump...

Quick head ZScript.
NOTE: One lesson. There is no short cut to being good at this. Practice is the only way.

thanks southern.
Although it is a slow way of modeling, I really should give an example of how to do it in a fraction of your time.
I had a session with your model, here is the result. I shall keep playing, I will be able to copy your work now.
Andreseloy good call. I was going to post a full modeling tutorial, but it would appear there is no need to now. The "Grandmaster" :D love your humor.

Great thread everyone. I was saying in another thread that I ran that script yesterday and it was both, interesting/entertaining and a nice learning experience for myself. Deadman Walking, very nice rendering. Reminds me of Leonard Nimoy for some reason. :D

Hi my friend Andre!
I guess we need to realize that Southern is from another planet from a parallel universe, and there's no way we'll ever get his talent. ;)
