Hey everybody.

Here's a wallpaper I've been working on for a computer mod website called Virtual Hideout. They are having a contest, and so this is my entry. Since I had to make it quickly (I don't have much time to work on the Z) and I wanted it too look as good as possible, this is NOT ALL ZBRUSH! Most of it IS, however, the tiny ships flying around the city are not, the keyboards, computer, and fan grill are not either. The large ship is completely Z. The floppy disks are also Zbrush.

Hope you enjoy... I'd like to request that nobody tell me how to make this better, since i've been working nonstop on it and am sick of it.

used two layers of baked fog, and one layer of real-time fog, plus Zbrush postwork for effects.

I love it. It's got that 50's scifi movie feel.

Conjures up my favorite book "Hitchihiker's Guide To the Universe."

MUCH luck on the entry, and GREAT job!!

you’ve done a FANTASTICO job with this one, Daniel and this just has to be among the nominees (at least!) - i especially love the hot "propulsion" of the z-ship and ditto to what Kathy said: the overall googie-feel (http://www.spaceagecity.com/googie/index.htm) in here is great! congrats!

Kathy, thanks for the comparison... although i have never read that book, i have seen they eye-catching cover, so the comparison is very much appreciated.

Good luck with the entry.
And go read "Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy." It's a blast of a read!
