Hi, after a few weeks with almost no ZBrushing here is my latest one. It's still in the ugly alien category (I'll try doing something else soon, I promise ;) ). I'm not very satisfied with it and I liked my previous picture (http://www.pixolator.com/zbc-bin/ultimatebb.cgi?ubb=get_topic&f=1&t=004073) much more.
I'm welcoming all comments and 121.
Hey Codexus!
Although your previous piece was excellent, I don't think it's fair to compare this one since it's not done. ;)
Personally, I like the texture of the green skin. I particularly like the bone structure along the forehead, eyesockets, and cheek areas.
Maybe it's the lighting that is bothering you, or the "dryness" of the skin, but I think this is a great looking character.

I second what Kathy said. This is, in it's way, as good as you previous image. Which I just saw, and liked very much.

I third the comments....try best render, then bake the pic ( ctrl B) and then witha low setting and the 3d brush try running your brush over the bottom lip...may give it more texture...but it's a very nice alien to say the least though....keep us posted...I will be interseted to see your final product

I think that is some very sensitive modelling...That is the basis of everything else. Given that, I like this, and I think you show great skill and sensitivity to your subject! :tu: :tu: :tu:

agree with the people above.. plus i love those eyes..
Ditto all around. let us see it in a finished project. It should be a good image based on the excellent start you have made.

Thanks for all the kind comments. :)
I think you're right about finishing it and making a full picture of it. But I'll probably try some other stuff first and then come back to this picture when I've more experience or if I have a bright idea on how to continue it ;)
