added a few elements to my pic......NOTE...my phone lines were down yesterday afternoon and just came back to life somewhere in the middle of the night..Just wanted to let you all know that coz I havent had a chance to respond back to my own posts comments or to any of the new work....so I wasnt being a snob :))))) but this pic I was going thru alot of DeeVee's images taht I have on the computer saved and got all excited and started a bouquet of sorts and took it into psp and added it to an existing image of mine...some of the elements are scanned leaves but I used them in Zbrush and of course Ye' Old Snakehook brush....and the second one here is the same boquet with its own little background that I wasnt explicitly happy with ....

Ron, Murphy must be in the air, I lost all internet services from Friday until Monday morning. It can be so frustrating.
Re your images. Both are interesting, However, I prefer the first of the two images better, it is not as dark and the rock formation is more defined. IMO

I too prefer to first pic. The lighting and rock seem to settle the location of the leaves. Just awesome!

Beautiful composition Ron, that flower is really something! The contrast in the first image is perfect.

Both images have qualities I like. The first one, the viewer goes right to the flower. Great contrast/lighting. The leaves in both images are superbly done.
What I like about the second is the darker mood. I can imagine some little creature of the wood lurking beneath the leaves....
Both I think are well done Ron.

Yep, the first one...The striking contrast between the flower, both in tone and specularity makes this a really dramatic piece! :tu: :tu: :tu:
