Newbie question

Hi.

I have downloaded the 30-day trial of ZBrush twice before but after getting a bonus at work today I finally decided to splash out.

I am trying to load a image file in Photoshop and Bitmap format but when I click on the file I want to load, the file open window and all of ZBrush completely closes leaving my PC as if I had never opened ZBrush.

Is this something that anyone else knows about. I am using Windows ME.

I use BMP files but the same procedure works for either format...
In the Texture pallette, select Import, and load your file...Now in the Layers pallette, select Fill...That should do it...
Keep us posted on how it works. ;)
You should also have the aspect ratio of your document the same as your imported image...

Excellent advice and very fast - thanks.

My PC crashed and before I was back on line you had the answer for me.

I exported from ZBrush to find out the dimensions of the BMP file I needed to import and then shrunk/trimmed it to match and it loaded great.

Hope you don't spend all your life waiting for others to bring you their questions but if I get stuck again I'll be back.

I'll be experimenting with ZBrush over the weekend (and long after?) and will let you know how I get on.
