I did the followings:

- Draw a sphere with a color and a material.
- Use Marker (m+)
- Create a new layer. Draw a sphere with a new color and a new (different) material.
- Use Marker (m+)
- Create a new Layer.
- Draw it using Multi Marker.

What happened is:

(1) Both spheres had the second (same) material.
(2) Used Make polymesh
[The composite mesh will contain 16128 polygons. Would you like to proceed and compose such object?] [YES]
Still M picture on the Tool window.
I did it many times with different size of spheres. They always said 16128 polygons.

What was wrong?

Thank you very much.

The size of your sphere -- or any other object -- has nothing to do with the mesh density. The larger you draw the object, the larger each polygon becomes.

To change your mesh density, you need to use the Tool:Modifiers:Initialize palette before you draw the object. Changing the Div values will increase or decrease how many polygons the object has.

As far as your material and color problem, under the marker:modifiers pallette you can click whether you want tool, color, material, etc. recalled. Make sure you have material and color turned to "on", that way you're multi-marked spheres will now have the two different materials and colors.
