I can see this one too...if you just started posting there is a delay, at least there was for me...sometimes up to a day (it seemed).

You wouldn't think so if you saw what we see! On any given day, there are approximately 500 attempts to spam ZBC with advertisements for porn, drugs and other stuff.

The only way to protect against this is to require new members to go through a short period of moderation. This means that your post is viewed by a moderator to ensure that it's not spam before it actually appears on the forum. That's something we do periodically during the day and evening (Pacific Time). If you post during those hours it normally doesn't take very long for your post to appear. If you post in the middle of the night, it's going to take longer.

Regardless, after a certain number of posts have been made by you and approved your account automatically switches to normal member status. At that point your posts will begin appearing immediately because you've established that you're not a spammer.
