Hi everyody!
This is the Making Of a bust creature,
All recorded in video with no editing,
Available for downloading in 06 videos (around 3 hours total in 2x speed)
I've made it for downloading cause there's just the video, no audio or text,
So the video quality is enough to see what i'm doing easely,

Covers:
-Sculpting (ZBrush)
-Polypainting (ZBrush)
-Baking and exporting Maps - Normal, Texture, Displacement and Cavity (ZBrush)
-Opening UV (UVmapper)

Hey Jag - Yes, it is 3.5R3, it doesn't have ZMapper cause it is not needed anymore, you can do the maps with simple clicks, the only thing is that i
open the UV map in the tuto using UVMapper, but it is also not needed anymore
cause ZBrush's UVmaster is really GREAT!

Hope it is usefull for you!

Nice visual tutorial but lack of audio makes it some-what hard to figure out for less experienced individuals. If someone could add commentation to these they would be a hit in my books.

Hey Ange!
Many thanks for the words, appreciate a lot

I've never put audio explanation in any video before,
Any suggestions on how and what (softwares) can i use,
If i have any help, i'll give it a try,

OR maybe if someone who knows how, could kindly do this for this videos,
It would be great, off course also put the audio credits for the Gentleman :tu:

Thanks again
Cheers

Camtasia Studio is great for both audio and text purposes, it's easy to learn but costs some money :)

Thanks a lot guys, very much appreciated :tu:

Santis - thanks for the info and link, i'll see what i can do with Camtasia :tu:

Sleepy - Thanks a lot man, really glad it was helpfull!

Jaggudada - Thanks a lot man, glad it helps you :tu: sure, i'll show my MODO
pipeline for you, i'm too busy right now, but very soon i'll make a explanation
with some screen grabs for you,
Just a brief explanation for you beffore i make the explanation:

1- Export the maps
2- Open your model in MODO (the one with the same UV's used to bake the maps)
3- go to the "Render Settings" page in MODO
4- Click on the "Item" corresponding to your model
5- Click on the "Add layer" in the right top of the page "Render Settings"
6- Choose image map
7- Click on Load image
8- Browse and load any map you whant (diffuse, normal, bumb...etc)
9- It will be set as diffuse as standard, you can see it in the right column
10- To change the tipe of map, place the mouse cursor over the right column
where it says diffuse, right click with the mouse,
11- Just when you right click it, it will open a dialog with many options for you
to choose including (duffuse, normal, bumb, tranparecy... etc)
12 choose the one corresponding with your map and it should work just fine :tu: :tu:

PS- Sometimes in MODO the correct map doesn't work fine (it is a bug)
if it happens, just delete the map from the shader three and load it again, it will work,

Let me know if it helped you !

Soon i'll post the explanation with the screen grabs :tu: :tu:

Cheers!!!!!

Hey Jaggudada!
I think next week i'll finish the new
video tutorial WITH AUDIO!!!!
showing the ZBrush to MODO pipeline, as you asked, including some explanation of the MODO features for the SSS shader, adding DOF at
Photoshop, UVMaster and Decimation Master, specular maps and
Subsurface amount maps (all painted inside ZBrush) and a lot more
so stay tunned!!

Cheers to everyone!

Hi fernando (hope i may call you that)

I love the tutorial but questions if I may.
1) Am I doing something wrong or do the files miss sound. Reason I ask is that me new to zbrush and video goes relatively fast.

But super way of showing how it works

Regards stephan

I'm trying to record a decent narration for the videos this week and as soon
as i finish i'll post it here!
I'll also post together the ZBrush to MODO pipeline tutorial,
So stay tunned!
