2 weeks in the making and an updated wish: better memory management? ZBrush kept crashing whenever I tried to marry the head to the body (475,000 + polygons)

Oh well, here is the head.
Comment and suggestions on my third model?

Great work! Looks like one of the Sabre Tooths from Ice Age. Very funny thing...I've been thinking about trying to reproduce Diego from that movie.
No suggestions from me. :)
I love the expression and texturing. :tu:

increblible! i love how you made it cartoonish but still amazingly detailed. great work with the fiberbrush, too...that's one of the hardest tools to use, but you've used it really well.

:) Great job on your third model :tu: :tu:
That's some very sweet modeling and coloring. You definitely have that part of the program down pat!
The hairs could be improved by baking the layer and then using Flat Color material for the Fiber Brush -- they'd end up looking finer and not have the wierd material conflicts that you see there.
Your choice of where and how to use them, though, is really good and shows great control of the brush. I really like this guy!

Thanks, all, for the great comments.
I'm glad you like him- yes, he was inspired by the Ice Age movie trailers! Saw the movie (it's great!) and a rich source for some great models....
I haven't tried baking anything yet, but I will probably try your suggestion, aurick.

Very Very good--but I'll never trust MY EYESIGHT again--I mistook him for Tony the tiger---he growled GGRRREEEAT--ripped my arm off and ate my cereal--very realistic but not TONY!! :D :D :D
