View Full Version : trendwhore?
hi all together!
Was a longer time not here and iŽm very surpised, impressed and happy about these stunning stuff posted in the meanwhile.
I finished parts of my homeepage, including all my ZBrush-work! IŽll collect a bundle of good tutorial- and CG-Links. perhabs i can make some of my own...
if you want to have a look: froyd-euch.de (http://www.froyd-euch.de/)
Also working on some serious projects - perhabs i can earn enough money from it, so i can buy ZBrush just before the new update (the new wonderful adds seem to be really impressive!) comes out.
here is a piece i made in a short time.
it seemed to come out like one of these trendwhores. 121 would be kind ^^

Hi Froyd
Ok i have seen your site :)
Very conceptual :)
My own critic (for me) is about the police size ! (too too little) for my poor eyes :D
You talk about Deluxe paint (for amiga) but have you known this fantastic programm for Atari, "Spectrum 512" ?Here a great site about this antic prog :) (http://www.asterius.com/atari/spectrum) a sort of ancestor of Zbrush 15 years before
(examples image are very bad reproduction :D original were very better :D )
Pilou
yep, the technic tht is used there, to change the colorpallette more than one time pro vertical blank interrupt, also accomplished similar pictures or animations on AMIGA later as on C64 =)
Programmers with such a skill combined with effective phantasy are able to have innovative ideas and to code such incredible pieces of software like ZBrush :D :D :D

Frenchy,
The ANTIC link is marvelous. I did not know Martin had posted his personal history. I met him here in NY a number of years ago through Anna, another animator who was partner in his company. For many years I've worked with Animator Pro and 3dStudio before it became MAX. We used both Autodesk packages for video game production back then - Animator Pro, which evolved from several of the earlier paint and animation programs he mentions, was an incredible tool back in those days - Unfortunately, it was DOS based, and only used color table video modes (256 colors) and has pretty much disappeared from the current Windows environment.
Unfortunate as well is the fact that the company I used to work for here has ceased game production and moved into a different area of computer graphics.
Anyway, thanks for the link! I learned a lot from Martin's reminiscence.

Hi Stone
Sure, in my opinion, this machine (Atari St) was the best never build and with the better language for everybody never created (The GFA basic) and the crazzy Drawing prog (Spectrum 512)
But I don't know why, they don't know following the movment :(
Bad commercial politic, I suppose ?
