Is there a way to mix materials

Hi, OK I admit this might be a really dumb question since I'm new to ZBrush, but here it goes.. :)

Is there a way to mix to materials together? What I mean by that is to simple have an object go from one material to another. I'm using a tablet, so I assumed that if I didnt press hard (and had zadd off)it would just be a bit transpanrent and slowly mix in, put I cant do it ?! :( Is there a trick ?

the search results come up with much more. there might be a some more of interest for you among them, so in case you are not satisfied with the techniques shown in the ones i picked, i guess it’ll be best you repeat that search for yourself and check out :D

A thousand thanks, (and a thousand DOH!! :rolleyes: ) I never noticed that search fonction, Ooops. Sorry for the annoyance, but at least now I propably will have a lot less question needing answers.

looks like juandel helped you out a great deal.. one thing that i do is create or import a certain material for my models then make a copy of it.. import that same material into a different space in the material panel changing the settings like color bump..etc... have fun..
