I was interested in picking up a tablet pc that could run zbrush photoshop and max with strong and accurate performance. I am not as concerned with the price as I am with the reliability and power. Can any of you make any recommendations I can look into?

Thanks
Dennis

Tablet PCs are meant more for writing, not making art. Their accuracy and pressure sensitivity leave a lot to be desired for the artist. You're better off with a Wacom.

I already have a wacom, I was looking for something that I could use that was more mobile so I can do zb sketches on the buses, trains or trips and whatnot.

I saw this on G4 (from CES) HP touchsmart TM2. It's a notebook/tablet PC for under a 1,000.00 US. Have not had time to do any research on it though. Looked pretty sweet for the 20 seconds, "Attack of the show" gave it!

I did a quick google...Windows 7, Core 2 dou, 4gigs RAM (2 slots, max 8 gig) 350gb HD, optional ATI radeon moblie graphics...I think it goes on sale on the 17th this month.

There have been rumors flying around for the last year or so about Apple coming out with a tablet PC.

Hey lemo,

This is Steve Jobs writing.
You have breached the NDA but that is fine.
Go ahead and tell them about it.
