Hi,
I arranged some petals for a flower as a multi marker object but when I made it into a polymesh the petals were in slightly different positions. Would anyone know why this is?

It's an alignment problem, T...
Aurick did the best explanation in a Script form, and here it is...
Thanks Matthew for your usual clarity, and generosity...AurickMMPositioning.txt (http://www2.zbrushcentral.com/zbc_uploads/user_file-1019676976njp.txt)
This should explain it better than I could!

It was quite difficult to position because the petals are wavy and it took some time to get them into position using the rotate mode in multi marker, which is a bit of a black art. However when it looked right from all angles I made a polymesh but it wasn't the same as the multimarker. However they are lined up in with the multimarker I would have thought that they should remain the same when a polymesh is made. Unless there is something I'm missing.

Check out the Script, T...Matthew solved the problem for me. It has to do with how you initially place the objects, so you only have to do a minimal move...
I found that before this script, I thought I was moving a part along a certain axis, but in fact I was moving it along multiple axes instead...Auricks' technique should solve the problem you're having...

I have trouble making polymeshes sometimes too.
It is hit and miss. Looking forward to reviewing Aurick's script...hoping it contains;
