I made 3 objects a polymesh in Z. Now this makes them one. when I export them I need the only outer polys to show in the program Im exporting into.Is there a way to cut the inter polys out in Zbrush? Say I have 2 rings half stuck out of a box. Make it into a polymesh what happens Inside the box are the polys from the rings still inside?

If you activate the Dots button on the preferences palette, you should be able to see
inside your polymesh model...I think. ;)

as I understand it...yes the rings are still in the box....Are you trying to make one object out of a bunch of different objects and then save it as one manipulative model.....well I dont think that can be done....but the Multimarkers and stuff can do something similiar I believe...one of the other more experienced gurus maybe able to help you out a bit better in that area....great question :tu: :tu: :tu:

The best that you can do right now is adjust the coverage of the toruses so you have less geometry of the toruses inside the box. You can adjust the coverage under the tool:initialize sub-menu. The next version of ZBrush as I understand it, will be able to achieve what you are trying to do.

Now when I emport it to MAX will the innerpolys be counted?
Im going to try to use Z with a level editer and to create the rooms the geometry needs to be Hollow.

I don't believe that can be done in Z at this point. It looks like you should be able to do it with the next version however.
