Yay I finally managed to get a material to my head =P, after a little tweaking it turned out pretty nice. I spent almost the whole day modelling and texturing this one, cripes!.

The mouth works ok but it looks a little funky =/, I had to guess the shape of the mouth when I modelled the teeth so it didn't quite fit.

How do you guys do to make your teeth/inner mouth blend in with the mouth?. And to get the shape of the teeth to fit the mouth, is guessing the only way?.

First thing I gotta say is that your position of your teeth look fine, as science fiction is only fiction you can make up the rukes, like how much of the gum shows etc.
Remember you can use the modifiers to taper, twist, rotate the teeth tool in order to make it the right shape for the mouth. The other way is to actualy model your teeth with your head on screen, always checking the fit, and then texture them later.

wow this is a great monster! The teeth look fine, but you could probably use markers and then pull the mouth into position around the teeth, that how I do eyes.
