My first head texturing with Texture Master...still a WIP. Just realized I haven't modeled the ears for it, wonder how much of a pain it will be at this stage. Anyways, figured to show you guys what I got so far. Southern's Purple Nasty tut was a great help... ;) www.tirgari.com (http://www.tirgari.com)

Looks like following Southern's Purple Nasty tut helped. Fine work here.
You can always model the ears from a sphere, and position them once the head is in place on the canvas. Works like a charm

thanks folks...will try to pull the ears out on the same model if I can, and if that doesn't work with texture and all I will just stick them on...or maybe not, since he might end up having battle helmet with chain mael.

Just added the ears by pulling it out of the main model...but of course that would mean lots of texture work in the area since I used zadd. also noticed that if I use zadd and then hit cntl-z for undo, even though the surface goes back to previous there still remains a white spot where zadd element was. any workarounds on that?

talos, if you want to use z-add on a model that has been textured, just make sure that rgb and m and mrgb or not turned on. This way, you can add to the mesh, but not affect the color or material.
