Wow Fouad! That is really well done. The neck could be worked on a bit (the polygons look a bit overstretched) but overall a superb job! The texturing is top notch. You may wish to experiment with three point lighting techniques once you are done with the model. A soft white light, a darker orange light and perhaps a soft green or yellow light. I look forward to seeing the final composition. :tu:

in this example, I have in fact used an old photograph of my head, seen of face and of profile, which I had to use a few times ago of that under 3dsMax for a similar project. The difference. under 3dsmax, 3 days to obtain a similar result under ZBrush.... 2 H!!!!!!!!! :D :D

Marcel > Merci pour les yeux c le plus long de ma modelisation!! la brillance oui .. mais je ne maitrise pas encore completemetn le processus de melange de materiaux..(d'ou mon mail) mentat m'a rapidement expliqué je dois faire des tests..
(thank you for the compliment on the eyes indeed I passed lot of time there.)

ok mentat I'll try that.. thx for suggestion!! :tu:

Really nice, specially the hair(it´s wonderfull!!)
I´ll just give you a sugestion (if you don´t mind): make the nose and the mouth thiner and the lower jaw too. Just a little bit and he will look just like a virtual clone of...someone :D .
This is TERRIFIC. 10 :tu: :tu: :tu: :tu: :tu: :tu: :tu: :tu: :tu: :tu:

Superb modelling, Fouad, and the texturing worked well too. Funnily enough I was looking at the photograph gallery only last night, and the face was immediately recognisable. :tu: :tu: :tu:

DrJJ: What the **** happened to your post! It's appearing in a narrow column at the right of the screen. :D

EDITED: What's going on? You apparently haven't edited it, but now I've added my post, it's all gone back to normal again. Methinks Internet Explorer is having one of its funny turns...

Really nice work, the ear looks slightly odd but I think you did it well. Ears are pretty hard to model especially with just a Sphere3D. Good job, and you look good as a texture :)

hey im not trying to be rude but i would like to ask a question?
did you get that head model out of (Deep Paint 3D) Sample model?
comparing yours to deep paint 3D isssssss
the head structure looks a tad tweeked not much.
deep paint 3D sample head has
1 blue ish purple hair like yours
2 skin tone like yours.
3 beatie little eyes like yours
4 if you tilt the head back in deep paint 3d it allso has a hole on the bottom like yours,,,,,
every thing seams realy close but hay im just askin ;)

well, Mr Ez.. I am extremely disapointed by your suspicieuse attitude. according to you, therefore works it that I produces is beautiful to be made by me. I prefere to take it as a flattery. and since you are so nice in my connection, I thus give you a free lesson of modeling. you will have thus a character to paint and I would not make you the affront show the continuation with texture master. You will forgive me to be able to reproduce you same the head that preceding A 100%, because any artist will answer you that one never reproduces with identical création. And for the demonstration I made more quickly because you will understand that I am offenced a little bit. for the continuation I summarize you nevertheless... a little 3d Copy and many of Texture master starting from photograph of face and of profiles... well heard; texture is then improved in photoshop. For information, the real problem for me in this work is in photoshop for ajusting texture generated by texture master..
sorry to don't make only squares and rounds. :D

only one last word about this wonderfull texture of hair.. it just an simple material with bump color.. then texture bump..

you will find here Script whitch demonstrate How to modeling head.

lecon_de_modelisation.zip (http://www2.zbrushcentral.com/zbc_uploads/user_file-1035440011bul.zip)

ahh.. I forgot..

I don't use Deepaint or other plug in of 3dpainting because they are too much slow.
I prefere largely ZBrush for that...

anyway.. have fun...

Great head modeling Fouad - :tu:

So you 'fixed' the texture in Photoshop? I have not done much with Texture Master.

Fouad B.
10-24-02, 03:24 AM
yes I have to pass by photoshop in order to improve texture. this one have tools has the photo final improvement, stamper, mask fusion etc... There are surely the equivalent under ZBrush but I maitrise not yet all that process.
for that I'm in my home with photoshop. :)

I like your modeling and texturing skill,Fouad!
I understand how it is slow to model heads poly
by poly in other 3d applications but unfortunately when you come to an animation
with a character speaking you need a low poly
head easy to animate.

I love those clothes, they look great.
The head is a bit too big for the body, he looks like something Gerry Anderson (http://www.zip.com.au/~raoul/gerry.htm) would have made. :D
