View Full Version : alpha pict
:) hello!i post this pict, after Ez 's tracer, because i think it's the same subject... http://www2.zbrushcentral.com/zbc_uploads/user_image-1035403159wbg.jpg
the head of the ptero is zsphere, butthe body is just an alpha; i import, but you can trace it directly in Z, and make 3d, max resolution(256) and mini(3) depth; then i mask the wings, and inflate(+9)the "body"; then inverse mask, and deflate(-8) the wings; then push pull in m mode, then trace little "veines" in z add... and voila. Friendly, and thanks to Ez for an add really well done... M. http://www2.zbrushcentral.com/zbc_uploads/user_image-1035403427ann.jpg
:) the tool http://www2.zbrushcentral.com/zbc_uploads/user_image-1035403472uvo.jpg
 maybe it's not clear: the head, done separately in zsphere, is not, of course, on the picts above; it's just the body-wings!!!

wow...nice stuff
Can I ask how you do the painting of the textures...you have a very painterly style, and I was wondering what brushes do you use and if you use texturemaster.
thanks
:) talos, merci! all the textures here are painted in Zbrush; usually i export import, via texture master, but not here; ther is, after texture master, a very useful add: brushloader, by Glen Southern; you can recognize some of his alphas brushes in the wings of the ptero... Friendly M.
What is the backgroud? A photo?
background:vue d'esprit for sky and texture mapped on 3d for the ground...
Very nice, is the background, landscape and sky Zbrush? I know you use photoshop together with Zbrush alot but I would love to see an all Zbrush image from you.
Still a great image though :tu:
:) "unknown", a precedent pict somewhere in the past of z central, is all zbrush...Friendly M.
